In a wonderful way the people of Israel can leave Egypt and even get gifts from their neighbors. The pharaoh was so stubborn, but when this last trial came he allowed the people of Israel to leave Egypt and take everything with them. It was told that the angel of death would come to Egypt and kill the first born son of all Egyptian families. But the people of Israel were protected. They should take the blood of a little lamb and put it over their doorposts - and be ready to go - so they were protected from that angel which brought death to many families in Egypt. Every year the people of Israel celebrate these days as holiday of Sukkot. They remember what GOD has done for them in the past.
